Alda St. James is an artist, poet, counselor, successful master goldsmith and the author of “Listen to Love: Reflective Poems for All Seasons”. She does not confine herself to just one form of artistic expression. Alda admits to writing poetry for as long as she can remember. She holds a Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Education and Counseling from the University of Idaho. Her Italian name; Alda means “richly blessed.” After 47 years in a happy marriage, the recent passing of her husband left a huge void in her life. Being an incurable optimist, the author filled the void with an incredible burst of creative energy, producing an array of poetry that welcomed a season of healing and hope. With this book, the author celebrates her renewed passion as an artist, this time as a crafter of words.
